Recent Concerts

A Cappalooza!! - February 27

1 a cappella group isn't cool. You know what's cool. 8 a cappella groups. BH was eminently thrilled to host and perform at a wonderful event that was both awesome and philanthropic. Congratultions to all the wonderful a cappella groups, and thank you to everyone who came out.

Private Concert - February 23, 9:30 P.M.

Bruin Harmony recently performed at a private birthday party in Beverly Hills, and it was awesome! We love performing at private events, especially birthday parties. The hosts of this party were especially wonderful and generous.

Dance Marathon - February 16, 10:00 P.M.

Bruin Harmony was absolutely thrilled to contribute to the west coast's biggest philanthropy! We are always impressed with the crowd's enthusiasm at Dance Marathon, and this year was no different. Not only did we have a great time performing, Bruin Harmony alo had several members dance. We are proud to be part of the movement to end pediatric AIDs.

Bruin Harmony Fall Concert - Dec 6, 8:00 P.M.

This is the kind of concert that makes everything we do worth it. Kerckhoff Grand Salon was totally packed. Scattertones and Sexy Sax Man were awesome. There were wigs, and pudding, and someone got iced. There were costumes and candy and munchies. Thank you so so so so so much to everyone who came out! We had so much fun performing, and the audience was amazing!

Alpha Phi's Mr. Greek - November 16, 9:00 P.M.

The indelible mixture of fun-loving Alpha Phis and (possibly intoxicated) frat-guys competing for the honor of Mr. Greek. We had fun singing a two-song set! This is a great tradition with a good cause, and we hope to perform next year. :-)

Beat SC' Bonfire and Rally - November 15, 5:30 P.M.

I don't know what we did out there at the rally, but it worked! UCLA beats USC 38 - 28, finally cementing that the football monopoly in L.A. is over.

SCAMfest - November 9, 8:00 P.M.

One word: "hype." I mean ... over a dozen of Southern California's most awesomest a cappella groups all assembled in one place? Yea, that's cool. We had a mind-blowing, rip-roaring good time performing at the Claremont Colleges (and let's be honest, at the after-parties too). We were so pleased by the level of talent out there, and eminently honored to be part of such a wonderful tradition! We can't wait for next year! (Shout out to the Scattertones, our UCLA bretheren who also attended).

Pauley Opening - October 28, 6:00 PM

Bruin Harmony was absoluted thrilled to sing for Athletics Donors and friends at the Opening of Pauley. Shout out to the Scattertones who also rocked some worlds!

Young Alumni Council - October 27, 12:00 PM

It's so nice to see young alumni supporting their school and repping the blue and gold. We had an absolute blast!

Row-walks - October 15, 6:00 PM

Bruin Harmony introduced it's new members an sang a little diddy.

Gamma Phi Beta - September 30, 10:00 PM

The ladies of G Phi B are wonderful. They were so welcoming and so fun. We barely had to sing, as they sang along almost the entire time! Definitely one of the most fun performances of all time.

Kerckhoff Kickoff! - September 26, 8:00 PM

Bruin Harmony had an absolute blast performing to a packed hour in Kerckhoff Grand Salon! It was steamy. Was that a result of the general lack of air circulation and high temperatures, or merely a reflection of sexy crowds and a cappella groups coming together for one body-licious performance? The scholars will debate.

Freshman Convocation - September 24, 4:00 PM

Bruin Harmony helped welcome the new freshman and transfer students with their rendition of "Wild Ones." In addition, Bruin Harmony sang the Alma Matter with ScatterTones, Signature, and Random Voices. See the article here. Bruin Harmony Beatboxer Jackson McNeill also convinced chancellor Gene Block to give him a fist bump (not included in article).

Spring Concert - June 3rd, 8:00 PM

Well, seeing as how Bruin Harmony's track record for their concerts in the past have included (but are not limited to) a marriage proposal, chubby bunny contests, opera, a public shaving of one of the greatest moustaches of our generation, and a guy "singing" Skrillex with sounds erupting from his mouth in a way no human has ever emulated, you are best advised to attend. And with Halle Charlton opening, given the subject of some of her songs, we also advise you to show up early and stay on her good side! Parking Lot 4 under Wilson Plaza. Bring friends and a blanket to share, this concert is definitely not to be missed!

Thank you so much for coming out and making the Spring Concert such an awesome experience. Singing in the parking lot would not have been nearly as cool (rather warm, actually) without so many friends and family there supporting us. A special thank you to Anh Nguyen for hosting the performance as well as the alumni for continually encouraging us to take the group to new levels (not parking levels). Also, Halle Charlton; you are an incredible performer and singer and we cannot thank you enough for gracing us with your true musical talent. Last and certainly not least, we want to thank seniors Ryan Chapin, David Crane, and Ben Davies for your significant contribution to the group, and we will all genuinely miss your presence in the double arch.

Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Day - May 19th

Performing for the amazing ladies of Theta and their wonderful mothers? Hmm...we'll think about it...maybe if you feed us hungry college students, we'll be more interested?

The brunch was ridiculous. We would absolutely love to perform for you all again (as long as you provide more of your delicious food...kidding) and we hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Alpha Chi Omega Mom's Day - May 12th

What can we say? There's nothing more fun than singing for the lovely ladies of Alpha Chi Omega and their adorable moms.

Thank you for having us! We had an absolute blast, and we truly appreciate your support!

Chi-O Philanthropy Performance - May 5th

Philanthropy? Girls? Singing? Sounds like the perfect post-Spring Sing performance to us. Bruin Harmony is thrilled to perform for Chi Omega's philanthropy event on May 12th.

We all thoroughly enjoyed performing for the lovely ladies of Chi Omega. It was truly our pleasure to have the opportunity to do so, and we would love to come back anytime! And your desserts were delicious!

Spring Sing 2012 - May 4th

Bruin Harmony is extremely excited to participate in Spring Sing this May! Spring Sing is UCLA's largest talent show. Since its debut in 1945, Spring Sing has showcased UCLA's most talented students performing song, dance and sketch comedy. The show attracts celebrities, scouts and Bruins of all ages, who watch amazing performances by up-and-coming stars or hidden gems like Sara Bareilles and Maroon 5. A winner of several Spring Sing honors (including Best A Cappella Group, Best Participation, and Honorable Mention), Bruin Harmony is thrilled to perform again this May!

We were so excited to win the UCLA Prytanean Alumnae Award for Best A Cappella Entry and Gold Shield Alumnae Espirit de Corps Award for Best Overall Participation. Check out our performance from that epic night here. We can't begin to describe how incredible the experience was, and we want to personally congratulate every single performer on an impeccable performance in making one of the best Spring Sing showcases to date.

California A Cappella Festival - April 7th

Bruin Harmony is a long-time supporter and performer at CAF. The California Acapella Festival is a one-day event held at UCLA, hosted by Random Voices. With both a day and night show, CAF has consistently brought in the best of California collegiate acapella to mingle, collaborate, and perform.

Thank you, Random Voices, for hosting such a successful event. We had such a fun time and can't wait for next year!

Winter Concert 2012 - March 8th, 8:00 PM

After our performance at LAAF, our next big concert will be Friday, March 9th at 8pm. Just like last Spring quarter, we will be performing at UCLA's Powell Library, upstairs in the Rotunda. More details to come, but save the date and come early, so that you can be guaranteed a seat and hear some brand new music from the men of Bruin Harmony!

Here's a link to some videos from our performance in Powell Library. Thank you so much for the incredible turnout, and we hope everyone had at least a fraction of the insane amount of fun we had performing for you all. We want to especially thank Random Voices for opening for us, and for Ashley (Ann) Rehkemper for being as obsessed with us as we are with you! We can't wait for what next year's Powell concert experience will bring. RIP David Crane's moustache
