Class of 2007 Major: Theater Hometown: Palos Verdes, CA Voice Part: Tenor Solos: So Far Away, Turn The Beat Around, This Love, Helplessly Hoping, And So It Goes, Cry Me a River
It seems a huge chunk of James' heart is still with Bruin Harmony, even though his physical being is across town in Silverlake. His experience with the group was like that of raising an awkward pimply-faced daughter into the beautiful grown woman that BH has now become. He was there for BH's first steps (dancing that is), he was there when a distressed BH considered a name change, and oh, he was there for BH's first attempts at stage banter and improvisation... BH definitely blew a few jokes, but those women in the splash zone may have gotten wet that night and that fact can keep a person as warm as a freshly baked pecan pie on Christmas morn. Now a budding blossom, Bruin Harmony continues to astound James and audiences alike with their dynamic vocal performances and sheer radiance.

Luke Campbell, your typical baguette-munching, beatboxing patron of the arts, grew up in a quaint French town called Limours, then moved to enormous San José at the tender age of nine. As a young lad he developed a life-long passion for the fine arts, but it was during high school that Luke also discovered his love for theatre! With numerous shows and awards under his belt, he successfully earned his thespian membership as well. It was during his second year as a Design/Media Arts major that Luke helped co-found Bruin Harmony, UCLA’s only all-male A Cappella group which, to this day, remains one of the hottest, most engaging and demanded troupe of vocal performers on campus. As active president and lead vocal percussionist for the past two years, he is and will always be a proud member of this outstanding group of artists.

Class of 2009 Major: Philosophy Hometown: Redding, CA Voice Part: Baritone, Vocal Percussion Solos: Change Your Mind, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Roses, For The Longest Time, More With You VP: September, Change Your Mind
An essential baritone, Jackson McNeill is a fourth year philosophy major (a.k.a., "thinking really hard"), a degree which he's sure he'll use to cure cancer or build bridges sometime very soon. Not a fan of solos, Jackson often sings the absolutely incontrovertibly essential baritone part, or the equally important back-up beatboxing. In his spare time Jackson enjoys falcons, baths, mews, snake bites, and, most of all, cruise ships. When not crooning with the B-Harm boys, he has also been spotted making Top Ramen, performing at Spring Sing with Company, or "bro-ing out" with his brothers in Phi Kappa Psi. BUT his BIGGEST interest is reading a cappella biographies online... oh, wait... you too? You're actually doing that right now?! That's so crazy. We have so much in common. Hi. I'm Jackson. We should get coffee sometime. Call me.

Class of 2009 Major: Computer Science Hometown: Corona, CA Voice Part: Bass II Solos: So Far Away
Don joined the group as a freshman and was proud to be one of the founding members of Bruin Harmony. He was extremely excited to continue pursuing his interest in a capella after singing in an advanced high school a capella choir. Though torn at leaving the group early due to academic pressures after his Sophomore year, Bruin harmony was one of the defining college experiences for Don. Performing in and winning Spring Sing in our group debut was one of the most exciting experiences and is something he will remember forever. He sang with some of the greatest gentlemen he's ever known, and hopes those members enjoyed his company as much as he did theirs.

Class of 2010 Major: Anthropology Hometown: Salinas, CA Voice Part: Tenor Solos: Aint No Sunshine, Cinders And Smoke, Roxanne, For The Longest Time
Arkae came from seafoam washed up on a beach by the grandiose tides of the Pacific. He was then adopted by loin-clothed, spear-handling, game-roasting natives who reared him in all their loin-clothed regalia teaching him to leap over bonfires and strip coconuts with his bare teeth. He was later kidnapped and placed in a sweat shop. One day, while very aggrevated, he expressed his distress in song and was later discovered by a visiting investor of the factory who also happened to be a promoter. Arkae became famous soon after. Arkae is not usually a compulsive liar but his life is pretty boring so a little embelishment won't hurt. In addition to being a paramour of music, Arkae also likes science and cool things in general, like say, hot girls. Arkae wasn't always the beautiful butterfly he is today. He once had a caterpillar phase. A very fat one in which cheescake and fried chicken were very much enjoyed. While with Bruin Harmony, they tried to make him go to rehab. But he said no. Nonetheless, despite this lackluster intervention, he enjoyed his stint as an a cappella performer and felt a sense of ancestral heritage and warmth as he made do without instruments or electricity just as his foraging forefathers did. Just open space and your voice. You are the instrument and you are the electricity.

Class of 2010 Major: Communication Studies Minor: Spanish Hometown: Pittsburg, CA Voice Part: TenorII/Baritone Solos: Kiss HIm Goodbye
Justin Williams was one of the founding members of Bruin Harmony and was the first ever soloist of the group... and is damn proud of it! Coming from a musical theater background, a capella was something completely foreign to Justin, but as soon as he heard the magic that could be made without using any instruments at all, he fell in love. Unfortunately, academic pressures combined with his involvement in the UCLA AdTeam and Student Alumni Association caused Justin and A Capella to end their romantic adventures a little prematurely. But don’t fret, like any gentleman would, he took his love to the ultimate climax of winning Spring Sing before he ended their relationship. Justin is very proud of the time he spent with BHarm. It was without a doubt one of his most memorable experiences at UCLA.
